the talisman dress workshop is now only seven or so weeks away, so i'm putting up a few interesting links for participants [and of course incidental readers] to follow in preparation for our five days together
i'm very much looking forward to seeing the symbolic stitching evolve on our garments as imagery of personal significance combines with influences from the whirled together with the stitch memories [and i'm thinking of more than pinpricks] that our fingers retain

ReplyDeleteand yes Linda, there is indeed an abundance of inspiration in the embroidery whirled - we'll be working on developing some personally significant stitchable symbols for our garments [this will be a five-day intensive!]
